 Lebanese singer Nancy revealed that she dreams of getting the ‘World Music Award’ and doesn’t believe that the award is a fraud, where many say it is bought and sold, because she has no proof that this rumor is true or not. She adds that the Music Award and the Grammy Award is every music artist’s dream to accomplish, yet she wants to enjoy her time being a singer who is loved by many in various age groups. 

She wants to reach western listeners, yet only by using her own Middle Eastern style of singing. She wants to keep her own style of cheerful singing, because she truly believes that she brings great happiness and joy to those who listen to her music.
 Recently, Nancy was in Egypt accepting an award given to her by fans that chose her to be the best singer for the year 2007. She was very happy and proud to be chosen by fans who admired her style and art. Nancy also adds that this award is very special, because it had a new taste to winning.
 According to the London daily Elaph, while Nancy was in Egypt she was attacked by an admirer. She was extremely bothered by those obsessed fans that have no limit on what to do or how far they would go. A fan ran up to her and started using bad language, because he was crazy about her. The police had to interfere and take him away, because he would not leave at first. Nancy thinks that fans should have respect to their favorite singer’s privacy and their well being. Nancy revealed that she hates it when fans go to extremes sometimes becoming dangerous.
Currently, Nancy is in the process of choosing new songs for a new album. She has recorded a number of songs done in the Egyptian dialect which she loves.
 On a different note, Nancy truly believes that her album “Shakhbat Shakhabeet” (Scratch and Doodle) was a great success and it took her back to the innocent time of her childhood. Nancy wanted to mainly focus on her ‘Shakhbat Shakhabeet’ album this past year; therefore, she did not want to think about any other project.

 Nancy does not have any friends form the music world; she is only close to people who she has known from school and her neighbors. She feels that they are closer to her than those who come and go in the music world.
 Nancy like any girl wants to fall in love, yet she hasn’t found the right man for her. Nancy adds that even though there is no man in her life she can still have love for her life, family and friends. She loves her music and the joy it brings with it. She doesn’t believe that she needs to be seductive in order to sell her music. She truly believes that her style of cheerful singing is what makes her loved by many.
